Introduction
As many of you know, my primary focus has always been on app development. It’s my bread and butter, what I live and breathe. But every so often, life throws an unexpected opportunity your way, encouraging you to stretch your wings and try something new. Recently, I had the chance to do just that, and the experience was incredibly fulfilling.
Background
A few years back, my sons were under the care of an extraordinary daycare provider. Over time, she became more than just a caregiver; she became a family friend. Creating websites is not my strong suit; I usually focus on developing apps. Beyond the design aspects, this project required conceptualizing text and content strategies, elements that are not typically a part of my usual app development projects.
The Journey
Embarking on this project was a different yet enriching experience. I found myself alternating between design tools I don’t normally use and crafting textual content, tasks that deviate from my day-to-day activities.
The Outcome
Both my friend and I are extremely pleased with the final product. It’s a website that not only looks good but also serves its purpose effectively.
